This is a beautiful quilt top and will be even more so, when it's quilted.

Stunning, Tallchick. You've got points coming off your points. Where are you going to put the first border? I agree with stay stitching or running a chalk line. If that were mine and I got it anywhere near a sewing machine it would soon have 5 sides. I'd like to see a picture of what it is supposed to be.

I've got two books on borders and neither one has something that complicated in it.

Thanks for all the help, stay stitching all around and then proceed as per instructions. I just love this board and everyone who contributes! I still have so much to learn and I really do value everyone’s help!
Pattern is from Quilt Maker magazine and is called Stargazing, you can buy just the pattern. It will finish as a queen size quilt, and is a pattern I will do again in Blue and Yellow.

I don't have any suggestions but I wanted to say how much I love the design and colours in this quilt. Beautiful job. I can't wait to see it with the borders on.

I always sew my strips together as well...makes for less chance of rippling, IMO.

Gorgeous quilt. Can't wait to see it done and then again in Blue and yellow.

I know we all want to see this again with the borders, but I'm already in love!
