Default String Quilt

Finally finished the scrappy blue string quilt in the middle of the night. Had more problems with this one than I've ever had before. The strings are backed on muslin which made it very heavy and my quilting machine was skipping stitches left and right. All stitches are repaired and it needs to be washed and needs a label. Sammy Jo decided to photo-bomb the quilt as he loves the color blue for some reason. (Honestly!) Happy to have this one finished and will use it when I watch TV this winter.

Linda, that's beautiful! I'm doing my first string quilt. I use that paper that you get at the bakery. I love Sammy Jo!!!
We are both blue lovers

Beautiful, Blues seem to be a favorite. I have used old sheets cut up, for the backs of string blocks.

That's a beautiful quilt. Sammy Jo has good taste, I'm also partial to blue.

I swear they know how good they look against blue! I've got 3 orange boys...so they have given me ample opportunity to take pix and see!

Great looking quilt!

Really very nice. I have the papers that MSQC sells...I have fabrics...I need to sit down and make it. I do love the white borders and blue squares.
