    Default New Baby Quilt

Picked up some give-away squares and strips at my guild and made this as a gift for a new baby. I bound it by machine, sewing the binding to the top first and making the back side of the binding larger so that the decorative serpentine stitch on the top would secure it (see the close-up).

Love it! The stripes make this quilt! Great job in fabric selection and placement.

Terrific quilt! I love how the striped fabric creates so much movement. I would think a baby would really like this quilt.

Sweet little quilt...I like to use the serpentine stitch on bindings as well. It also makes a nice quilting stitch especially if you cross hatch the stitch through the squares.
