Default What's your favorite fusible batting?

Angela Walters uses it, and the idea of fusing it instead of spray basting, etc does appeal. So, what's your experience?

Hobbs 80/20 fusible is what I use. Just be aware, you need a good space to iron it out. I use the old carpet in my basement for big quilts. Also I start quilting from the center out and usually re-iron ( sandwich moves a bit) as I get to the edge.

I recently used Hobbs 80/20 for some playmats. It worked well. I wanted to fuse one side of the fabric, sandwich both layers, and turn right side out then fuse both sides together. I was able to fuse one side without the other side of the batting sticking on to the ironing board. And it still fused when I wanted both sides together.

Hobbs 80/20 is the only fusible batting I ever use.

I agree with the Hobbs. The Fusiboo I got at Joanne’s was a big stuck-together mess.

I've used both. I didn't have any problems with either one.
