Welcome from Ontario, Canada. There are many good videos from the Missouri Star Quilt co. on YouTube, start small with some table runners to get the basics. Have fun with your new creative outlet!

A warm welcome from Southern Indiana. As someone who was trained as a dressmaker 'back in the day', I can testify that quilting is a lot more fun! Enjoy!

So glad to have you with us. I'm waving hello from the Seattle, Washington area, a little south of Vancouver, British Columbia. If you don't mind rain, it's a lovely part of the world.

When I first started quilting the 1/4" seam seemed so tiny compared to what I was used to! You've got a great head start on many that you have experience with fabric and great sewing skills.
