Default Hot Pad gifts

I made a couple of these to use at the family lakehouse this summer and heard several say "Oh, I hope she draws my name for Christmas". So I decided to surprise the ladies in our family ... I made 6 sets. Had hoped to gift them at Thanksgiving ... but Christmas works just as well.

Super cute fabrics and great idea! Curious what you used as batting? Is it necessary to use insul-bright with Hot Pads? Your ladies will love these

I reviewed several tutorials and I did use Insul-bright between 2 layers of batting.

Of course this is a gift I would love to receive! I can't get enough gifts like these. How fortunate the persons that get these gifts from you.
