Default I was bad today ....

So I live about an hour away from Keepsake. The hubby says to me at breakfast today - So did you want to go to Keepsake before they closed?? Well not that I needed to but at 60% off I couldn't help myself and off we went. This was my haul !!!

If I lived nearby I would have been there too, even though I've sworn off buying more fabrics. Those are lovely, and you were smart to buy so many neutrals. You can always use those!

I think we have to shop smart and so glad you got quite a haul-lol-I rarely buy anything NOT on sale. I can wait for a sale. Sixty percent off is a good buy. Like your fabrics.

eparys: I live in southern NH, also about 1 1/2-2 hours from Keepsake. I've had to try to "erase" my memory of how to get there so I don't go and buy anything! I would so love to go, but truthfully, I can't afford to - both money wise and space wise. I am so going to miss the store.

It was hard to stick with pieces that I knew that I would use and space wise? lol I have no idea where they will fit ... but I will find room!!

I kind of did the same - I reorganized my shelves and decided I had way too much and didn't need and more. But I couldn't pass on the neutrals.

Your bad is sort of my dream experience!

One of our local chains is closing another location and I've carefully stayed away, but that's only because I joined the Fabric Moratorium. Nothing wrong with collecting fabric, and especially at a good price at a historic closure. As I say when one of our moratorium members falls off the wagon -- Score!
