Default 99 without kneebar

I got a note from an old friend. She had moved back to town a few years back. she had a 99 that had traveled to 4 states with her, She was ready to be rid of it. I went over last night and had a nice visit and Turkish tea. .. it was in a bentwood base, but no top or kneebar. Looks like it will join my other handcranks soon.. The poor thing will barely turn. But it will sew again.

How lucky you are. I am so excited for you! I know you will have it up and running in no time at all.

Can you have a new knee bar fabricated? If so, would it be prohibitively expensive? What about 3-D printing one? I’ve seen several people say they wish they had the knee bar. Surely there is a solution?

I am certain it could be fabricated. They are odd looking things and there are two business ends. but in reality, I'll prolly just hand crank it anyway.

They run about 40.00 to 70.00 on eBay or Etsy.
