Hello
I am new to this. I have done a little quilting, but no means am I very good. I would like to find friends and quilters that can help teach me a lot of new things. I am from Texas and I love it here. I hope to meet all of y'all.

Welcome from another Texan!
You've come to the right place for friends & help in learning all the ins & outs of quilting. There are so many helpful & encouraging people on this board. Just ask as many questions as you can think of & someone will come along to answer them. We love, love, love pictures so please learn how to post pics & show us what you are making.

Thank you
Thank you so much. I am in Sweetwater if you know where that is. I live alone and spend time sewing and quilting. So it will be nice to have friends and ones that can help me learn more about quilting

Welcome from Tennessee. You don’t have to be good to enjoy this fantastic hobby. We all started somewhere and improve with time and practice. But since this is a hobby I will never be good enough for show competition. Which is fine with me. Then it may seem more like a job to reach perfection. That would spoil the fun I have. Ask any questions you have here. So many knowledgeable people willing to help you

Welcome aboard! The nice thing about the internet is that we can all be here together when the time suits us. I was a solo quilter for years and now I really appreciate the joys that quilting with others can bring. I'm lucky enough to have a regular small group once a week, but this is where I take my coffee breaks

Welcome to the QB from SE Michigan! Please jump right in and join the fun. All questions are welcome. There is a lot of fun and even some games. Some of the most knowledgeable people about quilting you will ever encounter are here. There is always someone that is able to help you along your journey and a new quilter. We have all been where you are. You will find every range of quilters from beginners to experts. It is surprising just how quickly your skills will grow. Again welcome to the QB and have lots of fun!
