Default Dear Jane

I picked up my Dear Jane from the long armer this weekend. This was the first time having a quilt long armed and it is beautiful!!! I'm so excited that I am one step closer to having this quilt finished.

The piecing took me 4 years to finish. It started when I was at one point in my life and then transitioned through a career change and then through law school. And now it's finished in a new state with a new life. It also shows how much I learned about piecing and appliqué over the years. Some of those first blocks are not good.

Thank you for looking.... also that's my kitty S'Mores... he likes to play with the covers on the bed so he had to be a part of the photo shoot LOL!!!

Oh my goodness absolutely breathtaking, and my favorite colors! You should be proud of this amazing accomplishment! And I love your kitty, too cute! Black cats always have the best personalities.

The Quilt Inspector (aka S'mores) approves! : )

What a feat, especially with everything else in flux at the time. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!

That quilt is absolutely beautiful. I love the purple. ( which is a little strange because purple has never been my color)
it certainly was worth the 4 year journey.

Beautiful quilt and congrats on the finish and all your life changes. The bright white BG is so crisp against your assortment of purples. Very pleasing to the eye. Kitty is a cutie too. I admire anyone with the drive to finish one of these!
