    Default The Last Homely House

FYI-I have been binge watching this on YouTube . The full site title is from a Tolken quote, The Last Homely House east of the Sea. She does knitting, sewing, gardening, bee keeping etc. and just shares what she is doing most days. She also has a mail order site for her journals, bees wax candles etc. It is nice to see what others are doing while in isolation.

Yes, I watch Kate's output too. Lovely, sensible, normal woman, and very soothing to watch - especially her drawer cleaning!

It's her beekeeping that excites me so much. I love the way she handles her bees. I once had 95 hives back in the 60-70. I dropped down to 2 hive by the late 80's and none now. You are so right she normalized our lives.

I'll have to check her out, sounds worth the time. I'm binge watching Living Big in a Tiny House on Youtube on FYI. I am just amazed at the cleverly arranged storage they come up with and the peoples explanation for their builds.

Quiltah Mana, I love Living Big in a Tiny house. They are so clever in their storage ideas. Could you downsize like they do? I could not.

We watched the Hobbit this week, did you know that is where the Last Homely House phrase came from? It was Elrond's extensive house in Rivendell, established in S.A. 1697. Just call me an info junkie
