Default 2nd showering Stars quilt

I finished this top yesterday, as I was working on the star strips I kept thinking ( boy, I Don’t quite know about this one- are these fabrics/ colors really going to work? ) decided to carry on-
now that it’s together I do like it.
It is larger than the purple first one- I added an extra star strip to this one. Nice size queen.

This quilt hits the spot for me. This is a quilt I could easily give to a nephew of SIL. Of course all the women in my family would love it too. Thanks for sharing this beautiful quilt.

How pretty! I love the fact that at the same time, it is bright and it is dark. Great job!

Although they are both so pretty my favorite is still the first one! I like how the dark background sure makes it look like an arrow pointing to the stars. 5 star job! ....Was there a link to the pattern?
I wanted to say too I like how you made it into a queen. My husband likes a quilt to be a bed size. I wonder how a Christmas fabric would look. I will have to search my stash. The pattern looks easy enough without a pattern.

I love both versions - and the darker backgrounds really let the colors pop. Thanks for sharing.

This is such a striking pattern - I have several sets of charms in different colorways that would probably work well - now to figure out where I've hidden them (I mean safely stored for future use). : )

You inspired me with the first one and I made one. But it's not quilted yet. I'll take a picture and show you when I do. I love it!
