    Default Little Lamb

Hi Quilters! My elderly aunt gave me these 'squares'. Bless her heart, none were even, must less square. So I re-cut and put them together. I thought it really needed something else. Last week, on an embroidery site, this little lamb was offered. I thought that was exactly what I needed to finish my blanket. I call it a blanket because even though I quilted it, I didn't use any batting and I used Minky on the back. My grandson has his 'blankie' he drags around, and drag a little one would have to do, as this is surprisingly heavy! Anyway I ripped the fourth row out and inserted this gray strip. I free motion quilted the strip and outlined the appliques.I crosshatched the squares, every other row. I bound it with the cotton, as I barely had enough Minky to back it. Thank goodness I have an assortment of supplies!...and people thought I was hoarding...I was getting prepared!-lol

Adorable quilt for your little one. Great design putting the quilt together using those squares. Love the extra touch of machine embroidery that you added too!

Well done! It is great that so many of us had the foresight to be prepared with plenty of fabric/supplies for this confinement period! Nor hoarders/just prepared

Super cute toogie and a great save of your Aunt’s fabric squares. I love the colors and the addition of the little lambs. Great job!
