About 10 years ago I made a quilt for someone's 50th birthday. It included 50 pictures that I printed out. I can't remember what product I used that I soaked my fabric in before printing. Also, I forget how to print on fabric. Any suggestions? I would like to make those cute little Prayer in my pocket squares but want to print the prayer on the fabric instead of attaching to a little card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It has been awhile since I have posted anything. Thank you all! And stay safe!!!

What you use depends on the printer you have, whether it is laser or ink jet or something else. I'd do a search on your printer and "print on fabric?.

Bubble jet set is one of the products we’ve used to treat our fabrics for printing. Also, press your fabric to freezer paper, cut to the size of printer paper. After printing allow the ink to cure - I usually wait 24 hours then heat set.

Did you soak it in bubble Jet? I ironed the favric on freeser paper to go through my ink just printer heat set it when it was done

Fabric Galore

I used Crafter's Images Photo Fabric from Etsy and I used it to make a quilt label. I was very pleased with the results.

For about $5 each, you can upload a graphic to Spoonflower.com and even edit it on their site. Then order a swatch that comes about 6x8 inches. I uploaded my daughters' art projects to make a quilt for each.

I recommend Spoonflower now as it is less likely to fade out that homemade prints I use to do. the colors are sharper too.
