Default Amazon Star

I got this as a kit from Craftsy/Bluprint. I finished piecing it a year ago (May of 2019), put it on the longarm and stabilized with SITD, but then other projects came up, I took it off the frame, and didn't get around to re-loading it until January 2020. Then other projects kept getting in the way, the virus diverted my attention, and I didn't actually work on it for months. Now it's finally done. Along the way I learned how to re-time my Innova, and decided to simplify my quilting plan and just "get it done" after repeatedly hitting points where many, many layers of fabric (all batiks) made the needle jam or the thread break. It's about 102" square after quilting, shown on the floor and on a queen bed. And I have another top all ready to put on the longarm.

That is absolutely beautiful! What color thread did you quilt it with?

Thank you! I used a very pale thread in the light sections and a dark burgandy in the dark areas. I also used a black MicroQuilter thread for some of the ditch stitching.
