I am doing first panel quilt. 14x24 panel in middle then two borders. My question: can I make quilt sandwich out of panel section, then add qag blocks around it? In other words, can I QAG a panel quilt? So glad I found this quorem!

As far as Your quilted panel quilt goes you can do what every you want including QAYG if you want to. You be the judge of what you feel comfortable with.
