Pfaff Tripmatic 1035 question
#2
I downloaded a manual at http://www.pfaff.com/en-US/Support-and-Updates/Support and don't see anything about where the needle stops. My Pfaff 1475 always stops in the needle up position, unless you have the "Needle Down" button light on. I noted that the manual for the 1035 says to turn the hand wheel to bring the bobbin thread up. On my Pfaff 1475, there is a a single pattern so if it is on straight stitch one can touch the pedal and the needle will go down and back up to raise the bobbin thread.

I’m used to a pfaff 2140 and Creative design machines so this mechanical is quite different...no needle up or down, no thread cutter, no automatic foot lift...but it sees heavy stuff like a dream😊

Thabks for your help...I downloaded the manual and learned all kinds of things. This was a pretty advanced machine in its day! I got this machine from a friend and am really enjoying it as a second machine. Sometimes mechanical machines are just the ticket!
