Default Necchi BU Mira Problem

I have a beautiful Necchi BU Mira but the problem is: the middle of the hand wheel turns but it does not disengage the needle while winding a bobbin. I don't know how to fix this problem

Is this a new problem? The knurled wheel turns separately from the hand wheel?

I don't know if the "BU Mira" is similar enough to Singers, but, in the past, I have been able to hold the take-up lever and had the bobbin winder work without the needle. I'm guessing that the hand wheel and stop motion need to be cleaned and oiled. If it is similar to Singers, some good info can be found at https://vssmb.blogspot.com/2012/06/h...om-moving.html

Similar to Singer, but not the same. The three lobed clutch/stop action washer is tucked away in a recessed hand wheel. This is my BU
Loosening the gib screw on the knurled knob and then unscrewing it lets you lube here if you want.
