For me there is a “sweet spot” depending on which machine I am using. Hand speed and machine speed just right. I know it when I do it but don’t always have the control every time.

Never full speed. Sewing machine is maybe 1/3 - 1/2 speed. On the Sweet 16, never over 25% and not usually that fast.
