My 3rd quilting, and first applique endeavor - a sewing machine cover for my first machine (Brother CS6000i). The cover was quilted then I appliqued a sewing room onto the front for gits and shiggles.
The applique process was so much fun it was like playing. I'm making an applique'd yoga mat bag now because I enjoyed this one so much.
I didn't quilt the front panel because I knew sewing on the applique pieces would do the same thing. Wait...does that mean I did quilt the front panel...? Erm...
Anyway, I was in an RA flare when doing this project so some of my sewing lines are warbly instead of straight..

Love it! That is adorable! Your attention to symmetry in fussy-cutting appliqué fabrics is brilliant. It takes the scene to a high level and keeps it pleasantly balanced for viewers’ eyes. I would never guess you were suffering from rheumatoid arthritis when you worked on that. Nicely done! Really inspiring! Thanks for sharing.
