Default Christmas Morning Delight

Christmas Morning Delight! is the name of this pattern by Material Girlfriends. (I simplified the borders in order to finish it quickly.) The designer's notes say: "Christmas Morning Delight. It is one of my favorite patterns. Several years ago, I was doodling on my sermon notes during a December sermon and drew a Christmas tree dangling it’s star to delight the holy babe. Psalm 148 says “All heaven and earth will praise the Lord. Shining stars and all cedars will even praise Him.” Hmmm. Shining Stars, Cedar trees. Would it be hard to imagine a decorated Christmas tree bending in adoration to delight the babe with its star? I thought it fun to think so."
I whizzed through this project at lightning speed this week ~ and totally love it!
I can't wait to hang it in my office. Enjoy!

I love it! This has been a favorite of mine for a while... this one and the one with Santa Claus bowing down at the manger. Giving glory where glory is due! Thanks for sharing yours.

Love this precious quilt... ...perfect placement of the ombré background...It’s cool how the light part of fabric shines down on Baby Jesus.....fabulous job on the quilting, too.

I just went to Material Girls and took a screen shot of thus pattern so I can remember where I saw it (memory is pretty shot with all thus staying out!!!!). It is an adorable quilt and I do like the borders you left off but I can absolutely understand why you did. This might make it by Christmas 2021 or 2022😁😁😁

Good ideas come at the most unexpected times. In the past my sermon notes were all decorated with my free motion practice. Lovely quilt that says it all.
