Default Tree Farm, by Laundry Basket Quilts

This pattern has been on my bucket list since the pattern came out a couple of years, I think. Anywhoo... This was first time I used HST papers and I’m a believer in them now. Each tree has 18 HST’s..ugh! I used a FQ bundle of blues and coral and added light/dark grays. Took my time piecing cuz I didn’t want any points cutoff and wanted every seam to match at the points...Usually I don’t worry about that but with this pattern I felt it was a must.. so glad this is done..

This is beautiful! And a good size too. I have a ufo quilt I am avoiding because it has a lot of trees and HSTs. Bravo!

Beautiful quilt! Your colors are perfect! I love Edyta's designs, but her patters are not simple or easy.

Teen, Absolutely stunning. Love your colors . I always go by the book! Never think of changing the colors. I started this quilt 5 or more years ago. Made the half square triangles, using triangles on a roll. That is the best way to make HST. Maybe???? I will finish it this year. I have 11 1/2 months to do it! LOL

Gorgeous quilt Teen with lovely cozy colors. I’ve seen a tutorial on the HST papers and I’m sure it was a life saver for this project. Congratulations on a beautiful finish.
