Why are these patterns costing so much??
Making a tutorial how to make any pattern is legal so not many need precise measurement to follow along so don't need to buy a pattern. Less patterns projected to be sold the more expensive. If I search blogs I can usually find a tutorial on the pattern I want to make.

It is a gorgeous pattern! I would make at least one block just for fun!

It's a beautiful pattern. I can see why you wanted it but I wouldn't....but mostly because it's out of my league!

Beautiful pattern, I would never be tempted to make it. I don't like metric system either. Too old to change my ways.

That is very pretty.
Mostly, I only buy applique patterns. I don't mind paying for the makers artistry and creativity.
But...
I'm getting old!
I recently found a BOM that is adorable. 9 months / 9 patterns. All applique.
Offering all the patterns at one time, one price. Had to have it. Did I say adorable? You know what I mean. So I got out the credit card.
then
2 days later, I found the cutest pattern...loved it. bought it.
It was the same exact BOM pattern set! From the same exact place. I guess I really do like it !
oops
sure is cute tho.

That is a beautiful pattern! I'm a CHEAP quilter (thus the reason I am a scrappy quilter) I am on a very limited income and I am a stage 3 Melanoma survivor with other health concerns

I am guilty! I buy patterns and also books. I am trying to rein it in because I have more to do than I have time left to do them. Oh well, that is about the only way I spend any money other than necessities.

I've paid quite a bit more than $25, for a pattern with templates. I know I'm not helping, but that is a beautiful pattern and I would consider it well worth the money. I may even order it myself, LOL.

The pattern you bought is beautiful and looks like quite a challenge. First of all----I have so many patterns that I know I will never get to make. Guess I just can't resist when I see a pattern made up I have to buy it. The most I have paid for a pattern is $26 and that was many years ago and I still have not made it. It was all applique and I am not sure I have the patience to do that anymore.
