Virtual Quilting Weekend--Feb 12-15, 2021
Welcome to the regularly scheduled February VQW. I have some hand work projects to work on this weekend and will hopefully get a couple wall hangings quilted and bound. My main sewing machine threw a temper tantrum Wednesday and I had to order a new bobbin case for it. Hopefully when it arrives Friday, that will fix the issue and I can get back to work!
So what will you be working on this weekend? Anyone starting Christmas presents? I have a little picking up I should probably do at some point over the weekend
Next VQW will be March 12-14, 2021.

I'm in! working on some ribbons for the KC Regional Quilt Show (and sure how not to mess up!) and also my guild challenge temperature quilt--have about 2 weeks of blocks to do to catch up. And doing design work on possible quilting on my first Judy Niemeyer quilt. And who knows--maybe start another quilt! (like cutting triangles for middle g--boy's quilt). So lots of stuff to do, but probably few pictures. But super cold here and I'll have much to do.

I’m in. I plan to machine bind 2 quilts. Make 2 pillowcases. Quilt a top (after I decide if I will add another border 1st). Then work on BHMQ steps #3 to step #6. I have all steps 1/2 way done. I have a list of several small projects I may complete in between. So I plan to be busy over the next 4 days. Thank-you for hosting this VQW.

Yippee, I finally get to be in on one, "VQW", it's so good to being involved in one of these, thank you Heather for hosting. Oh yea, I will be working on my mask making and I did start that apron for my friend. I am going to get to that chef' cap also. So it's still 'dark-turdie' around this part of the country and I really don't get that much done, but when the daylight breaks through I will be up and at them.
Have a blessed sewing day all of you fellow VQW'ers

Thanks for hosting Heather! I’m in and still working on Grassy Creek. I hope to get it to its final stages and perhaps even all sewn together so I can work on the border. I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone is working on!

Saw the thread on origami face masks and just may make a couple. DIL works front office in elem school and has to provide her own mask. MIL to the rescue!!!
And as far as Christmas projects...LOL now that was a funny question. According to previous posts, some of us, who shall remain anonymous, finally got their holiday decorations put away...lol
