Default EEK! Just Bought a Grace Frame

I just bought a Grace QZone Queen frame for my Tiara mid arm machine. It can be either crib size, where you can shift the quilt around if it's bigger than crib, or you can change out the poles and it can be queen size, which I'll only do when I really need that. I just don't have the space.

My shoulders have been complaining lately and I've been avoiding doing any quilting on my sit down mid arm, so I really needed to make this jump, I think. (I hope!)

Should be here in a week or so. Exciting!

Watson

Congratulations Watson. I have a mid arm on a grace frame. I have tried for years to learn FMQ and have never been satisfied with my results on my domestic machine. I truly enjoy my mid arm and find it so much easier to use. I have made a few quilts that I didn't use the mid arm for and my shoulders were not happy after. Enjoy your process once you get it and start using it.👍 Let us know what you think once you start using it.

How exciting! You will have to tell us what you think of it once it arrives and you are familiar with using it.

Congratulations on the purchase of your Grace frame. I have the Grace SR2 frame and have it set up for the largest size. I use it with my Janome 1600P which is only about an 11 inch throat, but that is large enough to do throw quilts and baby quilts. have fun learning and it will be so much easier on your shoulders...you won't believe the difference!

That's wonderful. If I had the room I'd go for it.
