Question Hello from Bloomington IL

Hi all, I am a new hand quilter and was looking at a Grace Z44 someone had on ebay. She suggested I join this board and ask you about this frame. I understand it is no longer being built but if it was not used much and supposedly good condition would $350 be a good price for one. Or would I be better off getting the new EZ3 for service availability?
I would appreciate all suggestions and comments. Once I get this, then I will have to find out how to correctly do the stitches.
One step at a time. Thank you.

I can't give advice on the quilting frame but admire your tenacity.
I know I would do some handquilting if I didn't have fibromyalgia.
I love hand sewing and embroidery.
I use to look at the Grace products and always thought they were quality,
but that's all I know. Welcome, LillisMima

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. Do you plan to do a lot of hand quilting? I bought a Qsnap floor quilting frame with a 50% coupon several years ago since I only hand quilt occasionally. I don’t have any experience with the GraceZ44.

Welcome to the QB...
Sorry I can’t be of any help but I’m sure someone here will have suggestions. I don’t sit still long enough to do hand quilting but admire the work of those who do.

I have the Original Grace Frame. They no longer make parts for it haven't for a long time but the frame has held up for 20+ years now and I bought it used too. My machine recently stopped working and I have to find a new place to have it serviced because my service man recently dies. So I am on the search.
The grace frames are all made to last. My sister also has one and loves it. For a first frame is is great. Even if you buy used the service department is great. Th ey have always answered any questions I had and been very helpful.
