    Default Another Quilt Finish

I just got binding on this morning. This was a mystery quilt along from LQS here in Snohomish. The pattern is Tahoe from Cluck Cluck Sew and the prints are Tula Pink collections. I really like the way the quilt turned out but the angles of the blocks shorted my brain. I had to recut and rip out too more times than I want to think about, felt like I was trying to pat my head and rub my tummy. I FMQ with angled lines mirroring the print block angles, did a continuous curve in the diamonds in the print block, feather in the blue diamonds and a loopy meander in the black background.

WOW...just love your quilt. I'm partial to bright fab paired w/black background.

Angles get me, too. But you have done beautifully with this and as I always try to remind myself, there are no signs on the top that say, "She had to rip this three times," or "She cut this wrong the first time."

Nope - no mistakes show at all - just gorgeous colors and very nice work.

Wow...neat pattern. I love Cluck Cluck Sew but have not seen this one. You did a fabulous job despite your angle struggles. Love the bright colors on your black background.
