Default Lots of "frog" stitching

New project has 42 blocks using two color ways. Finished them all today but no cheering in my house. Took 21 blocks off the design wall and...oh crap...Some finish at 8.5 and some 8" So ripped apart 10 locks to measure/trim. Tomorrow I do the other21 blocks. This really slows me down.

Oh, yuck! Your fellow rippers are all groaning in empathy - and you were halfway through your blocks, too.

Hope it goes quickly and perfectly from now on.

Did you figure out why your blocks were ending up two different sizes?

Bear yes I did. Each block is composed of 4 blocks and those blocks needed trimming before making the larger block. Guess I forgot the last trimming step. Frogged the big blocks, trimmed 8 small blocks last night to make the right size, and made two big blocks the right size. Now to press, measure, trim, and sew again. Gee that sounds like a lot of work....lol

Congratulations on having the will to do all that ripping. I might have just quietly put the whole project away.

Unstitching and re-stitching will never be the same. Frogging!! I have heard the term but never connected the action to the sound. Guess it is time to hop to it!
