Default Tonga Nature BOM finally finished

I started this kit in 2011 and made the first 4 blocks, but was side tracked with other projects. I dug it out in the winter of 2019-20 at retreat and finished two more blocks, but got frustrated when I opened block 7 and a replacement color was included for the finished block 6 Grrrrr. Dug it out again the beginning of April 2021 and decided it had been in the closet too long and it was time to finish it. I did not replace the color in block 6 and proceeded to finish the quilt. I just finished sewing the last border on this afternoon and laid it out on our king sized bed. My DH loves it, so it looks like we finally have a quilt for our bed LOL. The design was by Wing and a Prayer and the pattern is still available in an updated version.
The backing and binding are ready to go so it will be added to the cue for quilting some day. I have plenty of scraps left.

Beautiful colors and design - what a gorgeous top!

I'm putting together blocks from 2011 right now, too. This seems to be the year of digging out ten year old projects.

Yours is much more intricate and harmonious than my sampler - I aspire to your level of piecing. Kudos to you for getting to it, despite setbacks.

It look fabulous on your bed! I love the colors!

Do you mind if I ask what size it is? I'm planning a king-size project and have been debating what size I should make it.

Default Send it to the head of the line!

That quilt is gorgeous! I think you should bump it up to the top of your "to be quilted" pile and get this beauty on your bed! I think it's spectacular. Great work.

Beautiful quilt. I don't think you needed to change any of the colors. They are all perfect.
