    Default Games

Can we please have a separate posting spot for Games?
it seems we have more gamesters than quilting enthusiasts and those of us who are not playing games don't care to have to weed through the postings just to find a quilting post.
I am all for folks having a fun diversion, but we are getting away from our core and basis for having this group..

    Thank you, for listening..
Keep quilting and teaching our craft.

I don't see a problem. It's easy to scroll past the topics you don't want to open.

The games are limited to the general chat section, so if you don't want to see them, don't go there . No one is posting Games in any other sections on this Board. Anything sewing/quilting related can be posted in one of the other sections, or the Persaonal section for personal stuff someone wants to share.

I recently found from a new member that they were getting updates with each post from all the subforums, and so they were getting a lot of notifications! I have my options set so that I get no digest, and no notifications. I think a lot depends on if how your settings are and what you use -- I have a desktop computer and it would annoy the heck out of me to get some sort of ring from my cell phone at all sorts of random intervals.

I just come here when I get a fresh cup of coffee and look in.

No coffee allowed near the fabric!

This has been a request for a long time. At least they have "Games" in front of the name of the game, which helps greatly to scroll through.

Short answer to previous request/suggestion is NO per

LadyDiana ... If you don't want to see the games, use this as your entry point ...

    Quiltingboard Forums

The most recent threads started are at the top of each of the forum listings.
If I post or subscribe to a thread, then I get a notice, when there is/are new post(s).

Agree with the others, a separate game place has never been allowed ...
... and no doubt never will be!
