Question Frame for Coronet

Will the Babylock Coronet fit on the HQ Studio 2 Frame?
I currently have the 5 foot frame, but really want to upgrade to the big frame.

Perhaps the Babylock sales staff can tell you that. If they don't know, the Babylock website has Support info.

I think the Babylock Coronet is a rebadged Simply Sixteen made by Handiquilter for Babylock. I would check with Handiquilter since you are looking at their frame.

It is. Just as the Crown Jewel is a rebadged Avante.

This is a link to the sweet 16, and in the options menu, you can upgrade to a studio 2 frame..so I'd say they are compatible...if still in doubt, call them and ask...

You might want to contact HandiQuilter and see if you need a different carriage for the Studio2 vs. the LittleFoot you have now.

ETA - I checked and the original Simply has a 4 wheel carriage system. You can upgrade the machine/carriage tracks to a Precision glide system for about $140.

Here is what I found out:
The Coronet will work on the Studio 2 frame, but because of the width of the frame, you will lose about 3 inches of your 16.
You could also put it on the Loft frame, but if you ever decided to upgrade machines, the 16 inch machine is the largest size that you can use on that frame.
Hopefully this info will help anyone trying to decide on an upgrade!
