Default Smitten, by Kingwell Designs (EPP)

This was a project I started in May for a project to do while traveling. This entire quilt is EPP and hand-pieced, including the borders. For the primary fabrics, I used a FQ bundle of Liberty then mixed in scraps. It’s a crazy montage of about 10 different designs….a gazillion pieces….so Kingwell! For this project, I did buy the templates, which made cutting super easy and worth the expense. I may chose a star pattern from this design and just make a quilt with one star pattern but that will not be for awhile…lol…

I made a QOV with the star. I can see all the different designs you can get just by changing fabrics. How neat! Great work on this quilt top. At least I think it's still a top, not quilted yet but I will take another look. Very nice indeed. Love your fabrics too!

WOW just stunning and your combination of fabrics works beautifully. You have a lot more patience than I do.

So southern! I remember quilts for sale like this hanging on front porches along the highway traveling on a road trip with my parents when I was a kid.

Gorgeous work as usual. I do not have enough patience for that.

I'm so very impressed by your hand stitching, and to think you just started it in May. Beautiful!

That’s amazing! I love the way the border stripes frame the floral hexis- nice contrast without being overpowering. As always, your piecing and choice of fabrics is exquisite.
