Default Does anyone have a Singer 6234

I spoke to a lady who had just acquired a Singer 6234. We were looking at the parts that are stored on top of the machine. There was a part labeled as "P". It's a mystery to me what this part is used for.

If you have a Singer 6234, can you tell me what "P" is for?

Thank you in advance!

I downloaded the manual from https://www.singer.com/support According to page 38 of that manual, 8 "P" is a needle threader.

Bonus tip. That needle treader will work on any Singer slant shank, i.e. Rocketeer, 500 series.

Thank you!

I am going to make a note of the link to the Singer manuals. She didn't have one. I told here she could check the Singer site for a manual. I would have preferred to give her the direct link to make it easier for her.

You guys are the greatest! I may need to get this machine just for the needle threader!

Actually, I found the part number for the threader and it looks like it is available multiple places. The part number is 503277.
