Default Babies and stockings

This baby quilt is for my next GGD. I am way ahead as she is not due until February. I will have to make a
Christmas stocking for her. But I have a year to worry about that.
my GS got married last weekend. His wife asked for a stocking for them. Yes, she has already got her own stocking last year. Christmas is her favorite holiday. How could I say no to that?

Sweet quilt and the border fabric highlight the flowers perfectly! Cute stocking too.

If his wife asked for something you know she appreciates it. Great work on both of them. Love the baby quilt and wondered, is your cross stitching on the stocking by hand or machine? It looks great, either way you did it.

The quilt is great! I love how colorful it is. It will become "the blankie" for sure. I love the stocking too.

the design on the cuff is cross stitch. No machine stitching there. I have made stockings for all my kids. I find a design that fits the fabric. All are different. I guess I’ve made at least 20 of them.

Your baby quilt is so sweet. So is the Christmas stocking. Nice work!

You did a great job on both. Lucky you that your GS's wife appreciates your work and requested a stocking that will hang in a place of honor. I'll bet the stocking took longer than the sweet baby quilt, which is adorable! You are way ahead of the game on that one.

Love your quilt projects. Your counted cross stitch stocking reminds me of all the cross stitch items' I used to make. Eyes aren't quite what they used to be.
