Patriotic quilts?
I'm looking for your patriotic quilts. The ones where you've made stars and stripes. If you have one that looks like a flag that would even be better!
I've tried the search feature and haven't had any luck.
Thanks much!

Eventually I'll have a quilt for my bed for each month of the year. I have about half done and the others are either pretty much planned and waited for their turn to be pieced or quilted.
I think this came from a Better Homes and Garden magazine. It was the first year that border fabric came out, originally it was going to be more of a couch sized than bed sized and then I decided to make it larger and as often happens -- the fabric was completely out of stock.

A friend and I designed and made this.
The stripes are waving in the wind. There are 5 stars for the 5 military branches. The center represents the statue of Liberty with 7 spikes for immigrants from the 7 seas. There's an eagle. Obviously my toes didn't need to be in the picture. I think the quilting had just been finished. It's been gifted to a veteran of the Viet Nam conflict.
