    Default Disappearing 9Patches

Just a couple of Disappearing 9 Patches for my twin nieces. Same pattern, different fabrics - COMPLETELY different results. I'm really happy because they are such different people, I feel like these quilts are a metaphor for THEM.

Had them quilted because I got a little ahead on my piecing and the I had 5 waiting to be quilted. Decided to put $$ into the economy and save myself the headspace.

love how you sprinkled in the occasional "other" fabric in the blocks. really makes them interesting!

Yes, it is amazing how different they finish up in different fabric…both are wonderful and your nieces will be tickled to have them.

It is amazing how a Disappearing 9 patch can look so different in each arrangement. Great job.

I particularly like the green solid tossed in.
