Default My new machine

It was delivered today at noon. Took me all day to set it up. It is going to take a lot of time to know how to use all the functions. It is awesome. Janome continental m7

Congratulations of the new machine. While I don't have that one in particular, I do own three Janome's and love each of them equally.

Am so happy for you! New sewing machine days do not come often.

Two years in and I'm still learning the features of my new-to-me modern Bernina. Mostly what I do is piece quilts and I may never learn how to make a buttonhole and I'm ok with that!

But I did want to learn a lot of the new features and so gave myself projects to work on them, whether it was semi-silly like monogramming the hubby's bowling ball towels or trying three different ways to quilt on crib sized projects. I never liked partial seams until I had the thread cutter, makes a world of difference to me and such a little thing.

I did not know that machines have advanced so far. My bernia I have had for 16 yrs. Time flys when your sewing and quilting. My Bernina is still running good but I saw this for sale as a first owner and I watched some videos and that was it.
