Testing sashing for kitty quilt….

I’m trying to find a color that won’t take away from the kitties, and was wondering what you thought of this color? I tried black but it seamed too stark and too much contrast.

I love cats, this quilt, and the color for the sashing. Each kitty shows off well. Great job on the details.

I also think that sashing works well with the cat blocks.

That shashing color looks perfect. Like how it helps to "pop" colors used in the kitties with similar tones. What a sweet
quilt. And a kitty fan here.

I like your sashing, but would suggest no more than a 1" finished sashing between blocks (cut strips 1-1/2") to really set off the blocks. In my opinion, any wider sashing detracts from the very cute blocks.
