I love the patterns by Maple Island quilts. I have made several using big pieces of my favorite fabrics. If you are careful ahead of time, you can even use directional fabrics.

Lisa, thank you for the Irish Change link…looks like a great quilt for large focus fabrics and goes together quickly.

Sure like the quick way Jenny shows to make the chain block with strip sets. Will have to refer to this method for future Irish chain blocks.
