What cute WHs, M-Fay and Teen! Love the Loralei fabrics.

I need to get on the ball and come up with a plan for mine.

Thanks, my friends! Can’t wait to see what you’all come up with!

Hoping those of you in the Southeast did OK through the last storm yesterday. I tracked it cuz mama lives in Georgia…all is well with her and sisters. Looks like it may be a rough season for tornadoes…We had really strong winds yesterday…a bit of rain….today we had hail. Weird weather everywhere….I’d just like a break so I can plant my vegie garden. My strawberry plants and tomato plants are still in my sunroom cuz it’s too cold to transplant yet. All,of my porch plants are still inside, too. It’s like a jungle in my sunroom. Lol…

Thanks all for the lovely comments. I've started a other WH. This one's for Mr for this Christmas. It's quite large and has applique. I've put it on hold for this month as I get stuck into gardening. Last week we had our first rain for the year and got over 3 inches..( I'm still old school) weeds are starting to come up now and the sun shines back so I'll spray the weeds then plant the veges...if I can buy seedlings. Shop shelf was bare yesterday!

I'm starting to get ideas for my WH.... but I have one question first: Is raw edge applique acceptable for this swap? I was thinking of using batik fabric, which doesn't fray or ravel, and then sewing close to the edge.

I am fine with that but I know some people do not care for it. Maybe else a small zigzag? Waiting of course to see what out host says.

Sewbiz….applique using any method is fine. Lots of creativity using different methods is what makes this a fun swap. Most use us as Guinea pigs to try new techniques or method, which is awesome. The only restrictions are listed in Rhonda’s main post. Go for it!,
