This was very creative of you two. I love it and am sure your idea will be copied. In fact, I may embroidery a few of mine on dish towels. Oldest grandson just the other day came early and I had just taken a pan of biscuits out of the oven. He said he makes his just like I told him but they are never as good as mine. Lol-I told him nobody likes their own cooking. Eating something someone else made always taste better.
Your tribute to your moms legacy is beautiful. I wish you many happy days in your seaside cottage.-Toogie

I often wonder what will happen to the wonderful recipes that I have (hand written on recipe cards in a file box) when I am gone. One daughter says that she wants that recipe box. However , my kids all jump to the internet to find the latest version of a recipe.
These recipes have been fed to all of my kids while growing up and are pretty darn good!

That was exactly the reason why we wanted to use my mom's recipes ... we knew they were tried and tested by all 7 of her children!😊 My sister is now making patch-curtains with her chosen recipes as well👍🏆

Cool and very creative! My mom had great handwriting and it's nice to see you honoring her skills.
