    Default 3dudes scrappy

Saw this pattern and figured it was a good way to use scraps. So I pulled out the blue and yellow strips and came up with this little quilt. Doing following Jenny Doan’s tutorial, the blocks are 5” finished.

I used that pattern to make a king sized quilt for our bed. I love it! The blocks got together so fast and it looks great. Its so much fun to see how others make a block. Yours is so different from mine!

I really like the color combination. Unfortunately, I just went through my fabric, and those are the two colors I have the least of. Seems enough of a reason to buy more fabric.

I totally agree! More fabric is in order!

Oh sew pretty! I tried that pattern when it first came out and my skills were horrid, it did not turn out well! I amy have to try it again, thanks for the inspiration!

This is cute! Nice eye for color! Something that could be done easy on a larger block if you wanted to. Great job!

I made this quilt several years ago, but I used strips of different widths, which really uses up real scraps. It will be in the Medford Quilt Show on April 23, 24.
