    Default Scrappy - 2 1/2”sq

I busted out my box of 2 1/2” squares from years of quilt projects. Been wanting to make a quilt using Chambray background so decided to go for it since I have a bolt of it….have no idea why I bought a bolt of it but a sale is a sale is a sale..😊. 512 squares used in this layout…feels good to dig in this pile.

No pattern for this and no stress piecing was much needed.. Will be heading to quilter this week and then gifted to neighbor who has had a bummer of a time of late.

I love scrappy and chambray too! Nice job and a beautiful gift to lift ones spirits. Your kindness doesn’t surprise me though. Bless you-Toogie

You always do a great job and your use of scrap squares and chambray is no exception. How kind of you to think of your neighbor. I'm sure your thoughtfulness will bring up her spirits and help get her through her difficulties.

That's a darling design for 2.5" squares, Teen. I'm going to link to your post over in the Birthday Swap group. We send 50 2.5"s to each member of the group on their birthday... so much fun! We are always looking for new ways to use the squares, too. Your cute quilt is an inspiration.

I really like that quilt. I need to start cutting up 2 1/2" squares instead of letting those scraps just sit around & play with each other. They need a purpose! You are so kind to think of your neighbor & help in the time of need.
