    Default Hearts of Hope

Here is a Bonnie Hunter quilt that I am donating to a Ukrainian refugee. It was fun to make and used up a lot of my blue, yellow and neutral scraps. I made mine two rows longer and instead of vertical strips on the yellow half of the hearts, I made them horizontal so I didn't have so much bulk in the seam between it and the blue. Hope it helps some Ukrainian individual heal. I hope to start quilting it next week with a simple Baptist fan.

Pretty quilt & great idea to sew one half of the heart "across". That would help with bulk.

Your quilt is beautiful and they will love their yellow & Blue hearts!! Oh shipped two quilts directly to Poland and the package weighed 10 pounds the cost was
$119.00 Isn't that insane! Also enclosed were a few fire fighter things, a patch, ball cap & a t-shirt. $119.00!

Such a beautiful quilt ... probably the prettiest one I've seen from this pattern.
