    Default Silly Octopus Quilt

Someone offered up this octopus fabric on Facebook and I snatched it right up. Who could resist bright colorful octopi (?) in sailor hats, blowing horns, with stars and pinwheels? I knew there was fabric to go with it in my stash somewhere. It will be for a baby boy probably, and only measures 37"x42". Backing is bright orange like the binding. Straight line quilting (that takes sooooo long to do!) because my regular quilting machine is in time out for STILL skipping stitches. This makes 6 Project Linus quilts in six weeks. We'll take them all to the quilt shop in LeClaire, IA this week.

Love the quilt and the straight line quilting. You must have picked the right color of thread. It blends in seamlessly.
