Default Now what do I do...part 2

This is what I did with the gray and neutral postage stamp HST's. Someone on the MAIN post suggested pinwheels, and then someone else suggested just adding a border to it. Still, I wanted more than that, so I ended up snowballing one corner on each block and then doing pinwheels. (really hate twisteing those seams to make them lay flat!) This gave the top a secondary design to add interest. Started out with 110 half square triangles, and ended up using 108, left me with 2 for a scrappy block quilt someday. It's not a very big quilt, only about 50"x50". I do have enough green fabric left over for a backing and binding. Thank you all for your suggestions...sometimes my brain just gets stuck!

Great idea! I always loved the pinwheel and your snowballing one corner is something I’ve never thought of but looks so good. Love your little quilt!

Very gorgeous colors. Quilt is so soft and pretty. Reminds me of crop circles.

Great idea! This quilt reminds me of those southern quilts I used to see hanging on front porches for sale in the south when I was a child touring the country.
