Love when our works are so appreciated. Especially when we thought it was not our best. Someone always finds the beauty in it

I think it's great & don't see anything wrong with it at all. So glad you found a loving home for it. Thanks for sharing it with us before you gave it away.

Wonderful story. I will have to remember this. I sometimes get too fussy about setting quilts. Baby will have lots of tummy time on it.

Very pretty quilt. I never think any quilt is ugly.

I think it’s pretty, I can’t see it at a quilt show, but I like it. It’s a quilt that is meant to be used and loved, personally I tend to like those better than wall hangings.

I was gifted a set of coordinating fat quarters. The fabric patterns and colours were not anywhere near my taste and I considered the collection very ugly. After it sat around long enough for me to want it out of the house, I made a turning twenty quilt from it. Made into a quilt the fabrics weren't quite so bad, but I considered it my ugly quilt. Then I had visitors from across the country and she admired that quilt folded on the back of the sofa so I made her take it home. She was very moved that I would just give away something because it had been admired. I did not say I thought it was ugly.

that is what I like! when of my ugly to me quilt find the right person. It happened to me 3 times. It encourages me to keep finishing what I absolutly do not like. Some body comes along one day and they appreciate it. I can keep using my fabrics that have been hiding for too many years
