Question Question. About Kitchen towel & Hot pad club

Hi there,

received email from Shabby Fabrics to join a Kitchen Towel and Hot Pad Club …

wondering if anyone sent $10.00 to be put on their list?

It says you will receive everything you need to make 12 hanging towels and matching hot pads over the 12 months of 2023 for 46.50 a month?

Seems pricy to me unless maybe I missed something. Hot pad do look very nice ..but

not even something I'd care to make. the stores are stuffed with them, inexpensive and much nicer than I can muddle together.

Those are cute. But, $23.5 for a hot pad is a bit much

I saw one of the BOM that’s $100 a month for 8 months. Unbelievable but there are people buying those. Not me, too rich for my budget

No, that is very expensive, I can make a bunch of hot pads from my scraps and I buy my towels when Kohl's has a sale.

It looks like they use the same pattern every month, just changing the fabric. https://www.shabbyfabrics.com/p14032...d-hot-pad-club

Seems pricy to me too, but I would consider it if I lived in a remote area and had to drive a considerable distance to get fabrics. And it would take me forever to find the coordinating fabrics for the hot pads. Plus you get all the supplies.

The patterns are super cute! They would make great hostess or Christmas gifts.

I would consider it.....if each month I was learning something new and there was a tutorial to go with each month. I sometimes get excited about learning new techniques but need a little push to actually do them.
