    Default My little hedgehog… in progress

    I got an appliqué book for Christmas and I’ve never really done more detailed appliqué, it’s always been simple, and picked this cute hedgehog to do! I’m doing embroidery first before I machine appliqué.

    That is absolutely adorable! What is the net fabric you can see in the second picture? Does that get removed once the pieces are in place?

    Oh, that's not net fabric, it's my precision fusing mat for applique. You can fuse your applique pieces to the mat and then transfer them to the block you're doing. It's really cool.
