Default What to make with all this fabric?

I have 5 yards of this vintage fabric - very bright colors and large pattern.
Has anyone made a quilt using this fabric or similar? Any quilt pattern/ideas would be most appreciated!

I would use it for a backing, i’d hate to cut it up, very cute!

With that much fabric, it would be great to use some in the quilt and save enough for the backing. Perhaps a pattern that uses large blocks of a "focus" fabric.

I think I would also use it for a backing. Whichever way you could cut it, like for a BQ pattern, you would be cutting off a motif.

I would use as a backing. Fabric is to fun and unique to cut up.

Think it would be cute in aprons.

I used some fabric like that for wheel chair quilts. Also could make placemats out of them.

I would make an "Old McDonald's Farm" quilt. I would use this as a backing ONLY for the quilt.

    "Old McDonald's Farm" would need
    1. House
    2. Barn
    3. Pasture with fence
    4. Hen House
Normal things on the front of the quilt that belongs on a farm then this would be all the things for the farm. Don't have an actual pattern but you can find all of thes patterns on the internet as coloring paces. You can also take the pages to a copy place/public library and increas/reduce to the size you want. Good for kids and farmers.

Could also be a front (solid piece for an "I Spy" quilt. with a Pillow/case added for fun.

With 5 yards you could have several different objects.

Hope this helps with giving you some ideas.

Check out the 3 yard patterns. You should have enough for the front, back & maybe border.
